Ed McAlister
Paddler, mountaineer and experienced retailer
Chief Executive Officer and Board Member
Edward McAlister is co-founder of River Sports Outfitters on-line and to date has been responsible for vendor relations, product purchasing and fulfillment. He is an active outdoorsman and was one of the first people to brave the Grand Canyon in an open boat. Ed has lead many paddling excursions in the northwestern territories and has also guided mountaineering adventures to Rainier, the Grand Tetons, and Mount Whitney. He is the owner of River Sports Outfitters based in Knoxville, TN and has 20 years of experience in the outdoor clothing and equipment retail/mail-order industry. He holds a BS NMS in Industrial Engineering with a minor in Finance from the University of Tennessee. |
