LAURA JONES - GENERAL MANAGER

Hello- I am General Manager at River Sports Outfitters. I oversee operations of retail store, Climbing Center, the Cove, Waterfront, and the e-Commerce site. I love working at River Sports because we are a great team and we strive to give the best customer service. We have a goal to get people outside having FUN no matter what activity they participate in. We all step out of our box to get in the community and give our time to better what we have and make it more accessible and fun to all enthusiast.

I am passionate about the outdoors and love sharing with friends and family no matter what activity it is…I love introducing people to new fun adventures and showing them that it is doable. On my adventure side, I love the adrenaline sports of Mountain Biking and Canyoneering. I also love to stand up paddle, trail run, hike, paddle, swim, etc…really anything. My favorite places to go in Knoxville are IC King, Hastie/Georgia Marble and the “new” River Bluff area. I love going to Southern Utah to Zion or Colorado to Ouray to canyoneer.

I recently moved to Knoxville from Tuscaloosa, Alabama to become the new bike shop manager. I've been cycling competitively for 14 years. Primarily a mountain biker but enjoy spending time on the road bike as well. It's exciting being in a city like Knoxville with its great focus on outdoor activities. I'm looking forward to taking advantage of all that the city has to offer.

Boat Manager

Mark is the new boat manager at River Sports Outfitters. He has been in the outdoor industry for over ten years working as both instructor and sales staff. He can be found most days in the green room of the store or out on one of the many waterways around Knoxville.
